THE STARTER REPORTED A) ORANGE RED and TWICE A SAINT were stubborn loading. B) FORBIDDEN BEAST was nervous in the stalls. C) NINTYFIVE SKYLINE jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that NINTYFIVE SKYLINE which took a number of awkward strides in the early stages, did not stride out freely in the running and did not persevere with his riding from the 600m. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. B) The winner ORANGE RED was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer G D Smith advised (LM).
