THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CUTBACK (K A Brewer) was slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 200m, MASTER TIK TOK (P Mxoli), which shifted in away from the crop, and KARVANI (D Daniels), which shifted out away from the crop, came together and bumped. b) Jockey D Daniels reported that KARVANI changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer D Swanson will be requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of KARVANI on return to stables. c) MASTER TIK TOK (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Parham advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) IAN'S FERRARI raced equipped with ear muffs (declared 24 January 2025 at 16H00). b) MASTER TIK TOK raced equipped with cheek pieces (declared 24 January 2025 at 16H14). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) KARVANI examined post race, nothing obvious detected. SCRATCHED: a) TRUSTFALL bolted the course (NHA).
