THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	DISTING was kicked by another horse while proceeding to the start. Jockey M Yeni dismounted and a handler led this filly to the start. The Veterinary Surgeon examined this filly and passed her suitable to race. 
b)	MISS MARGUERITE (O Noach) jumped slow, losing one length.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Notwithstanding that SUMMER LILY (G van Niekerk) was held up for a clear run for a number of strides on two separate occasions when behind NORDIC QUEST (A Domeyer) before the false rail and again at the 200m behind BERRY'S BOOGIE (AUS) (S Moodley), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
b)	Jockey R Danielson (SYMPHONY IN WHITE) briefly dropped his right side rein at the 100m.
c)	DISTING (M Yeni) and MIA MOO (P Strydom) came together and brushed in the concluding stages.
d)	Jockey A Domeyer reported that he felt something amiss with NORDIC QUEST. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this filly.
e)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with MAI SENSATION. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	In view of the performance of PRITTI VICTORY (A Mgudlwa), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to 	examine this filly.
g)	I'M SO PRITTI, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (TL)
