a)	Approaching the 200m MARVEL WILLIAM (L Mxothwa) stumbled when it clipped the heels of MENTE ET MANU (M Yeni), which commenced to give ground quickly and shifted in. In view of the performance of MENTE ET MANU (M Yeni), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	In view of the performance of DALMENY FACTOR (A Mgudlwa), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to 	examine this gelding.
c)	PLEASE BE TRUE (R Fourie) was baulked for a clear run for the majority of the home straight until the 	concluding stages.
d)	GREEN GARNET (G Lerena) had interrupted running in the closing stages when close to the heels of WORLD 	OF PLEASURE (S Veale) and racing tight on the inside of SCALINI (G Wright).
