IT'S HER WAY (K MATSUNYANE) PROVED RELUCTANT TO PROCEED TO THE START AND HAD TO BE LED BY A HANDLER. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	A PLACE IN THE SUN (P Strydom) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	STREISAND (M K Katjedi) was slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	IT'S HER WAY (K Matsunyane) proved reluctant to canter to the start and had to be led by a Handler.
This filly is suspended in terms of Rule 93.2.4, until such time as she proves tractable cantering to the start on a Raceday. Trainer R Klaasen advised (LA).  
b)	Jockey P Strydom reported that A PLACE IN THE SUN took no interest in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
c)	Jockey D De Gouveia reported that BOOM BOOM made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 		
d)	Jockey M K Katjedi reported that STREISAND made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
e)	In view of the performance of GIMME PASSION (C Zackey), (distance 11,75 lengths, betting 15/4), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
f)	SECRET RECIPE (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
