THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROYAL THALASSIC (*I Taka) jumped slow, losing one length. b) DRICUS (C Orffer) was slow into stride. c) CELTIQUE (A Arries) and ARBITRTION (JP van der Merwe) made slight contact leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 200m BLAME IT ON ME (O Noach) was brushed by DRICUS (C Orffer), which was directed out away from the heels of AMANDLA NGAWETHU (G Wright). b) At the 150m Jockey JP van der Merwe (ARBITRATION) accidently had his crop struck from his right hand by the crop of Jockey G Wright (AMANDLA NAGWETHU). c) SCOTTISH LINKS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PP Kruyer was advised.
