MOVER AND SHAKER (*G DOOKHIT) PROVED RELUCTANT PROCEEDING TO THE START AND MAGIC TATTOO (K MATSUNYANE) WAS SUBJECTED TO A LATE VETERINARY EXAMINATION. THESE INCIDENTS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE.

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	TIME FO ORCHIDS (R A Venniker) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	MOVER AND SHAKER (*G Dookhit) proved reluctant to canter to the start. Trainer F P Habib was advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future, he may be suspended. 	
b)	Leaving the 150m, CHOCOLATE SOLDIER (M K Katjedi) was carried in marginally by GOLDEN SICKLE (G Lerena), which rolled in. 
c)	Jockey D Schwarz reported that ICE STAR  took an awkward stride at the 150m. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
d)	DREAMLAND (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
