THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PENDRAGON (C Maujean) and COUNT YOUR CHANCES (J Penny) were stubborn loading and thereafter were slow losing one length. b) CAPTAIN JIM (M K Katjedi) reared in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey C Zackey reported that TOP SEED made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) Jockey C Maujean reported that PENDRAGON did not stride out freely in running.
