THE STARTER REPORTED: a) EPIKLEROS (M Yeni) stood awkwardly in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. b) LADY SILVANO (C Zackey) fly-jumped leaving the stalls, losing one length. c) SPRING IN HEAVEN (C Maujean) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) OFFICIAL SECRET (R Fourie) was hanging in from the 200m. b) The saddle on LADY SILVANO (C Zackey) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Stipendiary Stewards. c) Jockey C Maujean reported that SPRING IN HEAVEN changed stride awkwardly in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) GIDEON'S DAUGHTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
