THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COLORAMA (Y Ramzan) was nervous in the stalls. b) SEPTEMBER FLOWER (R Fourie), THREAD OF LIFE (C Maujean) and TAKE YOUR TIME (E Webber) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FLOWER FESTIVAL (L Mxothwa) was hanging in from the 300m. b) Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with SEPTEMBER FLOWER and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. c) Jockey G Wright reported that COULDITBE changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Stable Employee MJ Mkhala was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. d) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that he felt something amiss with QUERANDI.
