THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FUTURE FREQUENCY (A Domeyer) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey M Winnaar reported that JET A ONE was fractious in the chute and on parade and as a result, proceeded directly to the start. Trainer D McLachlan was advised that should this gelding fail to parade in future engagements, he may be suspended. b) JET A ONE (M Winnaar) was hanging out and shifted out from the 400m. c) Jockey A Domeyer reported that, in his opinion, the performance of FUTURE FREQUENCY, which failed to respond to his urgings in the straight, was disappointing. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) AHEAD OF THE FACTS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
