THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SACRED LILY (R A Venniker) Fly jumped leaving the starting stalls losing 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SACRED LILY (R A Venniker) over raced in the early and middle stages. b) In view of the performance of ROWINS DREAM (K Matsunyane) which over-raced in the early stages and compounded in the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) At the 300m ROWINS DREAM (K Matsunyane) was steadied momentarily to avoid the heels of SACRED LILY (R A Venniker) which hung out from the top of the straight. d) Apprentice N Nastili (THESUPERNOVASTAR) accidently dropped his crop at the 300m. e) WAVE WARRIOR (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
