Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	UN BEL DI (A Domeyer) and SWEETIE DARLING (C Little) made contact leaving the stalls.
b)	DAME OF TRIX (L Mxothwa) was restless in the stalls. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	GO IT ALONE (M Winnaar) was hanging out from the 400m.
b)	RAFA BAY (JP van der Merwe) was hanging out in the latter stages.
c)	Jockey G van Niekerk reported that MANEKI NEKO changed stride continually in running and he did not 	persevere with his riding from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d) 	In view of the performance of KING VISERYS (G van Niekerk), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to 	examine this gelding.
e)	Jockey A Arries was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) 	in that as the rider of BLUFF ON BLUFF he misused his crop by striking BLUFF ON BLUFF more than 12 times 	(14) which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race. Jockey A Arries signed an 	admission of guilt and was fined R4000,00. 
f)	UN BEL DI, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (TL)
