THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LACEWING (D Schwarz), which hung in from the 300m, was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of DEVILISHLYGORGEOUS (K Matsunyane). b) DEVILISHLYGORGEOUS (K Matsunyane) hung in from the 200m. c) UP THE ANTE (R Fourie) hung in from the 100m. d) In view of the performance of HOLLYWOOD MADAM (M Yeni), (12,50 lengths, betting 125/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the performance of DIAMOND DASH (D De Gouveia), (distance. betting 125/1) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) MOUNTAIN HIGH (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
