THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, ZARINA (A Domeyer) was disappointed when it attempted to improve into a narrowing, available run between SENTBYDESTINY (G Lerena) and BON VIVANT (K Matsunyane). b) Jockey C Zackey reported that PRETTY BETTY made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SENTBYDESTINY (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
