THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair break. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, Jockey N Takawira, the rider of TRUSTFALL, briefly lost the footing to his left-side stirrup iron. b) Jockey P Mxoli reported that QUEEN OF FIRE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) BURN BRIGHT (Wes Marwing), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B H Stidolph advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) BURN BRIGHT new ownership: Mesdames C M de Jong, S Ziehl, K Stidolph, Mrs S Loubser and Mr B M McLauchlan, colours: Sky blue, sea green spots, sky blue sleeves, sea green seams, yellow cap (Sold with engagement). b) TRUSTFALL raced equipped with ear muffs (declared 9 February 2025 at 10H26).
