THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LUNA HALO (R Fourie) was nervous in the stalls. b) BUSH TRACKER (L Mxothwa) was nervous and kicked the back gates of the starting stalls. c) MHLABENI (S Khathi) was nervous in the stalls and rushed the front gates. d) DOWSER (X Ndlovu) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. b) LUNA HALO (R Fourie) over raced in the early and middle stages. c) At approximately the 100m LUNA HALO (R Fourie) shied away slightly from KHAYA'S HOPE (C Zackey), which shifted outwards slightly. d) Jockey L Mxothwa (BUSH TRACKER) dropped his crop at approximately the 50m. e) KHAYA'S HOPE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer DG Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer GD Smith, was advised.
