BOB'S YOUR UNCLE (R MUNGER) PROCEEDED TO THE START IN THE INCORRECT COLOURS. CLUB COLOURS WERE DISPATCHED TO THE START CAUSING A DELAY TO THE START OF THE RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DONTSHOOTTHEBARMAN (R Danielson) and YAMADORI (P Mxoli) stumbled leaving the stalls. b) QHAWE LAMI (L Nhlapo) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey C Maujean signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.3 in that he failed to ride JOHNNY APPLESEED out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, prejudicing his chance of obtaining fifth (5th) place. Jockey C Maujean signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R3750 b) YAMADORI, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J J van Vuuren advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) BOB'S YOUR UNCLE raced with club colours (all black). Trainer M N Houdalakis was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he did not have available the registered colours of the owner/s of the BOB'S YOUR UNCLE.
