THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	BJORN IRONSIDE (R Fourie) was slow into stride.	
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	 After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, WE HAVE TOUCHDOWN (C Orffer) cast its left front shoe on the 	way to the start which had to be replaced, causing a slight delay.
b)	After being slow to begin, BJORN IRONSIDE (R Fourie) had to steady off the heels of ROMAN AGENT (L 	Mxothwa), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
c)	Jockey R Fourie reported that BJORN IRONSIDE felt uncomfortable behind. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Trainer JA Janse van Vuuren was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate 	BJORN IRONSIDE against Equine Influenza in accordance with the program of vaccinations as published 	from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Stable Employee RG Botes, acting on behalf of Trainer JA Janse van 	Vuuren signed an Admission of Guilt and Trainer JA Janse van Vuuren was fined R1000.00.
e)	SYMPHONY IN WHITE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised. (SC)
