THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STAR COIN (K Matsunyane) reared and thereafter stumbled leaving the stalls. b) LA MOOHAL (R Munger), FLASHY APACHE (J R Syster), APACHE SON (C Maujean) and GEORGE HANDEL (*G Samo-Burthia) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 300m, ROYAL EDITION (J Gates), which shifted out away from the crop, was steadied when awkwardly placed between TWO MILES WEST (G Lerena) and KING'S EXPRESS (M Yeni), which shifted in away from the crop and was immediately straightened. b) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with TWIN TURBO in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) KING'S EXPRESS (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F P Habib advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACECARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) GEORGE HANDEL raced equipped with blinkers (declared 22 February 2025 at 08H19).
