THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AND ACTION (DB Geerthsen) was stubborn loading. b) EPIC THUNDER (*I Taka) jumped slow, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FLIGHT ENGINEER (M Yeni) jumped inwards and bumped EPIC THUNDER (*I Taka) inwards leaving the stalls. b) DYNAMITE JET (Y Ramzan) shifted inwards sharply away from the crop at approximately the 200m and was immediately corrected. c) AND ACTION (DB Geerthsen) took a number of awkward strides from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) MONOCLE (MK Katjedi) was hanging in from the 200m. e) BOMPAS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
