Stipes Report
The start of this race was delayed to allow YINMN BLUE (M Thackeray) to be fitted with a pressure halter at the start and due to FUTANO (S Veale) proving stubborn to load. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FUTANO (S Veale) was difficult and stubborn to load. b) KAITRINA'S DREAM (*J Botes) was stubborn to load. Lost 1 length. c) RUBY RISING (K Matsunyane), MISS KANSAS (R A Venniker) and CHE SIGNORA (P Mxoli) were stubborn to load. Trainers D C Howells, M L Roberts and M N Prinsloo respectively were advised to reschool these fillies. (SN) d) FINE WINE (J Jacobs) was slow into stride. e) SOL NOMARA (*M Mbuto) lost 3 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) As the start was effected QUEEN FENN (A Mgudlwa) was buffeted between LUCIENNE (S Hlengwa) and RUBY RISING (K Matsunyane) which jumped inwards leaving the starting stalls. b) Leaving the 250m FINE WINE (J Jacobs) was carried out marginally by SOL NOMARA (*M Mbuto) which raced green. c) MISS KANSAS (R A Venniker) raced green and shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to FUTANO (S Veale), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 14.04.2025 to the 20.04.2025. FUTANO may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M L Roberts was advised.
