THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THREE TIGERS (M Mjoka) and FUTURE PROSPECT (C Orffer) jumped slow, losing on length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 700m FUTURE PROSPECT (C Orffer) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the inside of THREE TIGERS (M Mjoka), which raced green and shifted in slightly. b) Jockey D Ashby reported that PEANUT POPS did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Jockey M Mjoka (THREE TIGERS) dropped his crop at the 50m. d) Jockey A Domeyer reported that he felt something amiss with IKO IKO. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) GIMMEATHRILL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Crawford was advised.
