THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROY'S BREYANI (*K Brewer) and TROUBADIX (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) VENTUROUS (*K Strydom) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) TROUBADIX (S Moodley) was hanging in from the 400m. c) Approaching the 200m, TROUBADIX (S Moodley) was carried out marginally by RASPBERRY BERET (S Veale) which shifted out away from the crop. d) The saddle on AJRAAS (M Yeni) slipped back in the running. This was confirmed by the video evidence. e) RASPBERRY BERET (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Hewitson advised (NS).
