a)	FIRST MASTERPIECE (D Ashby) proved difficult proceeding to the start and had to be assisted by a Handler, causing a delay. Trainer PP Kruyer was advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future engagements, it may be suspended.
b)	At the 100m ARCTIC WIZARD (M Yeni) was directed inwards to continue its run.
c)	FIRST MASTERPIECE dislodged Jockey D Ashby without incident in the pull-up area. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that GIMMELIGHTNING took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	In view of the performance of DEAN STREET (L Mxothwa), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
