THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SIR WILLIAM (S Mbhele) was reluctant to load. b) CARRIACOU (M Yeni) and WYAG (K de Melo) were restless in the stalls. c) MASTER JOSH (L Mxothwa) stood awkwardly in the stalls and brushed the front gates leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed due to the 30-minute interval between races. b) AUSSENKEHR (S Khumalo) raced awkwardly on the early part of the bend. c) MASTER JOSH (L Mxothwa), which over raced in the early and middle stages and raced wide on the bend was carried wider on two occasions between the 1000m and the 800m by RAFIKI (C Orffer), which raced green on the bend and rolled out. d) GIMME THE BEST (G Wright) raced wide on the bend and into the straight. e) CAITLYNS BOY (O Noach) was hanging in from the 300m. f) KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (C Zackey) was hanging out from the 200m and had to be straightened leaving the 150m. g) In view of the report from the Starter regarding SIR WILLIAM (S Mbhele), Trainer WA Nel will be advised to have this colt re-schooled before his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. h) WYAG, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GW Ennion was advised.
