THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LA FOLIE DOUCE (S Khumalo) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. b) DISTINCTION (K de Melo) jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. c) PACIFIC GREEN (S Mbhele) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LA FOLIE DOUCE (S Khumalo) was continually held up for a clear run in the straight. b) At the 200m PACIFIC GREEN (S Mbhele) had to be steadied and directed inwards to avoid the heels of DISTINCTION (K de Melo). c) Approaching the 100m LITTLE MISS PINK (O Noach) raced onto the heels of PORQUE TE VAS (G Wright), was steadied and made contact with PACIFIC GREEN (S Mbhele). d) SONIC BURST, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
