THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KASHKAVAL (A Arries) was continually restless in the stalls. This colt was removed from the stalls and thereafter reloaded. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Approaching the 700m, GIRL'S WORLD (*D B Geerthsen) and TIME TO MEDITATE (M K Katjedi) were carried out by HOLLYWOOD STAR (F Herholdt) which over-raced in the early and middle stages and shifted out. As a consequence of this incident, GIRL'S WORLD (*D B Geerthsen) and TIME TO MEDITATE (M K Katjedi) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. b) KASHKAVAL (A Arries) was hanging in from the 350m, and thereafter this colt shifted in away from the crop from the 250m. c) OLYMPIC STANDARD (N Patel) was hanging in from the 200m. d) IMPERIAL BLISS (*K Strydom) raced green. e) Trainer N Kotzen signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1 in that he failed to notify the Chief Stipendiary Steward within 2 days that the horse OCTOBER SUN is a gelding. Accordingly, a fine of R250 was imposed. f) GLOBAL DOLLAR (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) IMPERIAL BLISS was ridden by Apprentice K Strydom (advised 18.09.22/9h37). b) HOLLYWOOD STAR raced with a tongue tie (advised 17.09.22/8h10). c) AGGRESSIVO raced equipped with blinkers (advised 17.09.22/12h34). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) OCTOBER SUN is a gelding. Gelded on 21.12.21. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) GIRL'S WORLD : Scalped right hind. b) KASHKAVAL : Returned post-race having spread the right hind shoe.
