THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HER ROYAL MAJESTY (M Yeni) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WILL O ME (A Mgudlwa) was hanging out from the 350m. b) MAGICALLEE (*S Hlengwa) was hanging in and shifted in, in the concluding stages. c) In the concluding stages, KILEIGH'S FATE (*R Venniker) was inconvenienced on the inside of VISION OF WILL (S Khumalo) which rolled in marginally. d) In view of the performance of FAEEZAHS PRINCESS (K Matsunyane) (8.55 lengths, 15/2 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Apprentice M Katjedi signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read in conjunction M, in that he mis-used his crop by striking the horse LOOKING HOT more than 12 times in the entire race. In assessing penalty, the Board considered the number of times (14) Apprentice M Katjedi struck the horse LOOKING HOT, the distance over which and manner in which he used his crop and his record (0) in relation to this Rule. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of R750 was imposed. f) VISION OF WILL (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P M Gadsby advised (NS).
