HAPPY WANDERER got his left hind leg stuck in the stalls and was withdrawn by the veterinary surgeon. The remaining runners were taken out of the starting stalls and reloaded. CAPTAIN YOLO jumped slow, losing 1 length. KING CYRUS jumped slow, losing 1 length. The start of this race was rescheduled due to the withdrawal of HAPPY WANDERER, which was injured in the stalls. In view of the report from the Starter regarding HAPPY WANDERER, Trainer Robinson was advised to have this gelding re-schooled before his next engagement. Jockey de Melo reported that EMPIRE GLORY made an abnormal respiratory noise. KING CYRUS raced green. CAPE OF STORMS and AL BRAGGA brushed leaving the 50m.
