THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AISLING (*M Katjedi) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) WINTER JOURNEY (M Yeni) cast the right front shoe at the 350m. Thereafter, this filly was hanging out in the concluding stages. b) Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with ALTO ALEX shortly after entering the straight and as a result, he eased this filly out the Race. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) ROYAL KITTY (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
