THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BELL JAR (K de Melo) and LADY MACBETH (C Zackey) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) RAIN WEAR (*S Hlengwa) was hanging in, in the straight. b) Jockey W Kennedy reported that ROY'S T'S raced with its tongue over the bit. c) Jockey K de Melo (BELL JAR) reported that the bit pulled through this mare's mouth which resulted in him being unable to fully assist his mount out to the end of the Race. Assistant Trainer B Forster acting for Trainer W Nel was advised to take the necessary remedial measures to prevent a recurrence of this nature in future. d) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with MARIA COROLINA in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey C Zackey reported that LADY MACBETH made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running.
