THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, A TIME TO REMEMBER (A Arries) stumbled badly dislodging Jockey A Arries. Jockey A Arries was attended to by the Paramedics and taken to the Course Medical Centre. This resulted in him being incapacitated from weighing back in. The Board acting in terms of Rule 66.2, deemed his weight to be correct. b) From a wide draw, Apprentice M Katjedi elected to drop QUERARI'S COWBOY to the rear of the field. As a consequence, QUERARI'S COWBOY raced detached from the field from the 1800m and the 1400m. c) Apprentice D Geerthsen reported that IN WITH A CHANCE took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) STREET ART (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P Muscutt advised (DZ).
