THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BACK TO BASICS (N Klink) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being slow away, FORGOTTEN TIME (*J Solomons) failed to muster speed and despite Apprentice Solomons urgings, raced detached from the field throughout. Thereafter Apprentice Solomons reported that this gelding took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) MY MASTER (J P van der Merwe) commenced to give ground to the field from the 250m. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with IRREVOCABLE DREAM in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. The Board has adjourned to review Jockey Yeni's riding of IRREVOCABLE DREAM in the concluding stages. d) DANCING DORA (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
