THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS DEB'S (M Mjoka) was nervous in the stalls and rushed the front gate. b) BABY DONT HURT ME (JP van der Merwe) took an awkward stride and stumbled leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that BABY DONT HURT ME did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) DELICASEA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised.
