Apprentice P Mxoli signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R1,000.00 was imposed. When assessing this penalty, the Board took into consideration the number of times the crop was used (13) and P Mxoli's recent record with regard to this Rule and Guideline (2). c) KISS TO DREAM (N Klink) commenced to give ground to the field from the 200m, Thereafter, Jockey N Klink reported that KISS TO DREAM took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) ROSENWIND (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A B Fortune advised (AH). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) KISS TO DREAM examined post race, nothing obvious detected. b) KWAZZI'S LADY coughing post race. c) UNITED EXPRESS abnormal respiratory noise and blowing post race.
