FICTICIOUS was slow into stride. Shortly before the finish line, WINGS OF HONOR switched out to avoid running onto the heels of OCEAN CITY bumping MOGGIE BROWN onto ARIKEL, which hung in badly from the 500m. Thereafter SOUL OF WIT and LADY LEXINGTON had to ease when awkwardly placed behind these horses. A race review was called by a member of the Stipendiary Board which was followed by an Objection lodged by Jockey Munger, the rider of the third placed horse, MOGGIE BROWN, against third placed horse ARIKEL, on the grounds of interference shortly before the finish line. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and viewing the patrol films, was of the opinion that the incidents close proximity to the finish line and that more than one horse was to blame for this incident, overruled the Objection and allowed the Judges result to stand. OCEAN CITY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MADEMOISELLE raced without pacifiers. Vet: DESERT KITTEN - not striding out right front.
