THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GRAND FINALE (A Mgudlwa) stood losing 7 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 200m, ULTIMATE JEWEL (C Habib) was switched in off the heels of ROYAL POINT (S Moodley) which shifted out sharply away from the crop and was immediately corrected. Thereafter, approaching the 50m ROYAL POINT (S Moodley) shifted in sharply away from the crop and was corrected. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to GRAND FINALE (A Mgudlwa), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a raceday. Suspension dates: 08.11.22 to the 14.11.22. GRAND FINALE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer Y Govender was advised.
