The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race, as well as SEVENTH ROCK PARTY proving reluctant to canter to the start and having to be assisted by a Handler and the subsequent withdrawal of ITUNESYOU, which refused to load. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. BUT WHY NOT jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. SARAFINA was slow into stride. SEVENTH ROCK PARTY was slow, losing 1 length. SEVENTH ROCK PARTY proved reluctant to canter to the start and had to be assisted by a handler. Trainer Moffatt was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. In view of the Starter's report with regard to ITUNESYOU, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. ITUNESYOU may not be presented for repassing during this period. Shortly after the start BUT WHY NOT was bumped inwards by ONE-OH-WONDER, which shifted in sharply and thereafter commenced to over-race. Jockey Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with EVEN ME in running. SECRET DREAM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BUT WHY NOT - coughing. EVEN ME - blowing; fatigued. Scratched: ITUNESYOU - refused to load.
