THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TONS OF FUN (A Mgudlwa) was stubborn to load. b) SEA CRUISE (S Moodley) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, TONS OF FUN (A Mgudlwa) ducked outwards sharply, dislodging Jockey A Mgudlwa. In view of this report and in view of the Starter's report, TONS OF FUN's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day. Suspension dates: 15.11.22 to the 21.11.22. TONS OF FUN may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer W Whitehead was advised. (SN) b) Shortly after the start, KITTYBOYS GIRL (S Khumalo) was brushed by SACRED LILY (T Godden) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. Thereafter, KITTYBOYS GIRL (S Khumalo) was brushed by ADELANTE (M Yeni) which had jumped out leaving the starting stalls. c) KITTYBOYS GIRL (S Khumalo) was hanging in from the 250m. d) Jockey S Khumalo reported that KITTYBOYS GIRL did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey K de Melo signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 66.4, in that as the rider of MAGGIE TEE, he weighed in more than 1kg above the weight at which he was declared out. Accordingly, a penalty of a fine of R1000 was imposed. f) TWO MINDS (A Arries), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G B Puller advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) KITTYBOYS GIRL : Not striding out right front. b) MAGGIE TEE : Fatigued.
