The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. ULLA was stubborn loading. MONTREAL MIST was stubborn loading and broke the front gate open, which was reset. At approximately the 200m NICKY NOO was carried out by SINGFORAFA, which shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter, between the 75m and the finish, NICKY NOO was bumped outwards by SINGFORAFA on three occasions. As a consequence of this outward movement from SINGFORAFA, a number of runners on the outside of the field were cramped for galloping room. A race review was called by a member of the Stipendiary Board, which was followed by him lodging an objection on behalf of the second placed horse, NICKY NOO, against the winner, SINGFORAFA, on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the concluding stages. The Board, after reviewing the patrol film of the race and giving regard to the evidence of the parties concerned, was of the opinion that but for the interference NICKY NOO would have finished ahead of SINGFORAFA and therefore upheld the objection and amended the judge's result. The Board, when coming to this decision, paid reference to the fact that NICKY NOO came from behind SINGFORAFA, was finishing her race off strongly and had suffered three significant bumps from SINGFORAFA. An inquiry will be opened into this report. SINGFORAFA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DALAI'S PROMISE raced equipped with a Cornell collar. Vet: LAWDY MISS CLAWDY - coughing.
