Apprentice Solomons completed his qualifying rides on the 6th November 2019 in Race 7 at Greyville Racecourse and will continue to claim a 4kg allowance until the conclusion of the race meeting at which he has ridden his 20th winner. The start of the 1st Race was delayed due to EMPRESS ELLA refusing to load, CHANEL ALLURE proving stubborn to load and TALIA AL GHUL being subject to a late Veterinary check. COLLATERAL BEAUTY refused to jump. CHANEL ALLURE was stubborn to load. EMPRESS ELLA refused to load. COLLATERAL BEAUTY cantered down to the start fitted with ear muffs which were removed behind the stalls. Jockey de Melo reported that GLITTER AND GOLD was not striding out freely in running. Jockey Veale, the rider of ROSE DANCER, dropped his crop at approximately the 200m. In view of the Starter's Report concerning EMPRESS ELLA, CHANEL ALLURE and COLLATERAL BEAUTY, the starting stall certificates for these fillies have been withdrawn and they are suspended for a period of 7 days and until they prove tractable in the starting stalls with a companion. TALIA AL GHUL selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. EMPRESS ELLA raced with her tongue tied down. Vet: GLITTER AND GOLD - not striding out right fore. Scratched: MOUILLE POINT - injured right fore joint. TORNADO ALLEY - examined at the start. Mouth injury and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. EMPRESS ELLA - refused to load and was withdrawn by the Starter.
