THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SPLASH OF GREEN (*M Katjedi) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WOKONDA (M Yeni) over-raced in the early stages. b) At approximately the 1200m, CHERINGOMA (*P Mxoli) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the inside of DEFINITELY MAYBE (N Klink) and between the heels of CRIMSON PRINCESS (R Munger) and WOKONDA (M Yeni). c) Jockey C Habib, the rider of MAGICAL FLIGHT, accidentally dropped his crop at the 300m d) Jockey R Munger reported that he felt something amiss with CRIMSON PRINCESS in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. e) BUREAU DES LEGENDE (*G Pieterse), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R Klaasen advised (RS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SPLASH OF GREEN raced equipped with pacifiers, without blinkers (declared 10 November 2022 at 10H09) and with a tongue tie on (declared 17 November 2022 at 08H00). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) CRIMSON PRINCESS examined post race, nothing obvious detected. b) SPLASH OF GREEN abnormal respiratory noise. SCRATCHED: a) SIMPLE SIMPLE Stipes permission (under 8 days suspension when the meeting was set to take place on the 12th of November 2022). Advised 10 November 2022 at 09H00.
