THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair break. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The all-clear for this race was significantly delayed due to a technical error in printing the photo finish. After the all-clear was given and once the Stewards were in a position to study the photo finish, there appeared to be sufficient prima facie evidence to cast doubt on the result in particular to the fourth placing as declared by the Judge. This matter was adjourned for further investigation and will be brought to the attention of Mashonaland Turf Club. b) VARNICA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
