THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLUE PLANET (S Moodley) was difficult and stubborn to load. b) TWICE GOLDEN (*S Hlengwa) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At approximately the 1700m, TEICHMAN (A Mgudlwa) and BILLY BAZOOKA (*D Geerthsen) were carried in by GALABIER (A Arries) which rolled inwards. b) PARIS PIKE (S Khumalo) was baulked for a clear run between the 500m and the 400m. Thereafter, this gelding was switched in to obtain a clear run. c) Apprentice D Geerthsen reported that BILLY BAZOOKA took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performances of LIVING WATERS (15.75 lengths, 9/2 in the betting) and GALABIER (A Arries) (23.55 lengths, 33/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to BLUE PLANET (T Godden), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 21.11.22 to the 27.11.22. BLUE PLANET may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer C Hewitson was advised.
