THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) SEE YOU IN A BIT (JP van der Merwe) was restless in the stalls and had to be unloaded and reloaded, causing a delay.
b) DEOCH AN DORIS (O Noach) was fractious in the stalls and dislodged Jockey O Noach.
c) DEOCH AN DORIS (O Noach), SUNSHINE DAY (C Habib), SEE YOU IN A BIT (JP van der Merwe), KATABATIC (C Bantam) and SWIFTWINGED (C Orffer) jumped slow, losing one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) At the 150m RUNWAY BOMB (R Fourie), which raced green, shifted out away from THE CHARLESTON (G Wright) and had to be steadied away from the heels of PITON DE NEIGE (D Ashby).
b) At the 100m SAVIC (M Yeni) was held up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of STRING OF LIGHTS (G Behr), which raced green and was hanging in.
c) In view of the performance of RUNWAY BOMB (Betting 5/2 ; Distance 11.60) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
d) In view of the report from the starter regarding DEOCH AN DORIS (O Noach), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 28/11/2022 to 04/12/2022 inclusive). DEOCH AN DORIS may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
e) In view of the report from the starter regarding SEE YOU IN A BIT (JP van der Merwe), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 28/11/2022 to 04/12/2022 inclusive). SEE YOU IN A BIT may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
