THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) PERMESSO AVANTI (C Habib) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b) GIANCARLO (*S Sosibo) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c) MUSICAL KISS (*P Mxoli) was slow losing two lengths.
d) FEATHER THE NEST (*K A Brewer) was slow losing one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) Approaching the 200m, LORD GRANTHAM (B Nyawo) and TWOSIDESTOASTORY (R Simons) came together and bumped when awkwardly placed between by LIFE GOES ON (D De Gouveia) and POWER RANGER (M Yeni), which was carried in marginally by MEET THE CAPTAIN (M Thackeray), which rolled in and was immediately straightened.
b) Jockey J Mariba reported that INTEGRATE changed stride continually in running.
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c) Apprentice S Sosibo reported that GIANCARLO did not stride out freely in running.
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d) TIMBAVATI RIVER (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
