Apprentice Dicken has ridden his 20th winner and will now claim an allowance of 2.5kg. Jockey Brown and Jockey Zackey (medially indisposed - flu) did not ride at today's race meeting. They were replaced on their mounts. CHARLIE'S JET was slow, losing 1 length. BELLA ROSA shifted out at the 300m and thereafter shifted in away from the crop from the 200m. STARTING LINE took an awkward stride in the concluding stages and Jockey Habib eased this filly out the race. Jockey Habib reported that STARTING LINE did not stride out freely in running. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning STARTING LINE, this filly is suspended from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority for an indefinite period. A veterinary certificate for STARTING LINE must be submitted to the Veterinary Department of the NHRA, before it can be entered for a race. Such certificate should outline the veterinarian's clinical findings, treatment administered and confirmation that the horse has been examined before and after a racing gallop and is fit to race. Jockey Lerena reported that FIREWORKS changed strides continually in running and did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages.
