THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIMEFORTHAT (J P van der Merwe) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) FOLLOW MY PATH (C Maujean) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) HIGH ROLLER (R Munger) proved difficult to settle in the early stages and thereafter failed to respond to Jockey R Munger's urgings from the 300m. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) At approximately the 150m, BURMESE TIARA (M Yeni) was carried out marginally by FOLLOW MY PATH (C Maujean), which shifted out away from the crop. c) FOLLOW MY PATH (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B B Ruiters advised (AH). d) TIMEFORTHAT (J P van der Merwe), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L Kruger advised (MduP).
