THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WOODLAND RETREAT (S Moodley) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : b) Trainer D Drier signed an admission of guilt for the contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse FREESTATE STAR. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. c) From a wide draw AREA FIFTY ONE (T Godden) raced wide in the early stages. d) Shortly after entering the straight CAPTAIN ARIANO (M Yeni) and AREA FIFTY ONE (T Gooden) were carried out by ONLY HEARTS (D B Geerthsen) which rolled out. e) At the 200m, AREA FIFTY ONE (T Gooden) which was hanging in and CAPTAIN AIRANO (M Yeni) came together and brushed. f) FREESTATE STAR (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
